Complete the fantastic Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge with Kuta Outdoors

Sat 15th July 2017 or Sat 12th August
Walk it – run it… or….walk and run it…

Raise funds for your favourite charity or just come along for the walk or make a weekend of it…..

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is renowned for being one of Yorkshire’s toughest challenges, not be taken lightly, but once you’ve completed it, the amazing sense of achievement makes it all worthwhile and will become a lifelong memory.

Arrive the night before and either stay local in a hotel, bed and breakfast, bunk barn or camp in the field with us.

Complimentary (FREE) on the morning of your walk:

  • Tea / Coffee (available upon completion too)

The walk itself is both marshalled and guided which means you will make your own way around the route (we provide written instructions and a visual map for those who need them) or you can join a guided group with a dedicated and experienced Mountain Leader. There will be different group timed departures for all walkers (avoiding the long waits at stiles / crossing points etc)

The route is well signposted and easy to follow, however for those who are unsure of their abilities in poor visibility we recommend that you join our guided group – tick the guided group box upon registering.

At the checkpoints which will be at the summit of each peak you will be required to check in with the marshals and at the 7 mile / 10 mile / 17 mile points you can get further refreshments and medical support, should you or others need medical attention on the trail and away from our checkpoints we will endeavour to provide it at the first available opportunity – emergency instructions will be covered nearer the date and at the event safety brief including bad weather procedures.  All checkpoints have first aid provision.

For runners / faster speedy walkers we are now offering a later start time with support / refreshment points so you can travel light and smash your personal best… leave your running gear/refreshments etc with our support crew who will have it available at the 10 mile or 17 mile checkpoints

All walkers will receive a finishers certificate (for 1, 2 or all 3 peaks) with a personal best finish time

Post event barbeque (for those staying overnight after the event)*  BBQ is now CANCELLED as we need to clear the field. For those who have paid additional fees you will be offered a refund on the day.

Dedicated Kuta Outdoors Yorkshire 3 Peaks Facebook page providing advice / kit and announcing pre event walks / meetings / gear talks etc
